Homemade Yogurt
Making yogurt is not a great mystery but rather simple.
Ingredients
1 gallon whole milk
1/4 cup fruit pectin
2 cups plain yogurt
1 cup hulled and cleaned strawberries
1 large banana
Instructions

To make the yogurt: Add the milk and pectin to a large pot and heat milk to 180 degrees Fahrenheit and let it cool back down to room temperature.

Transfer the milk to a large stainless steel bowl.

Add the the plain yogurt to the milk and gently stir to incorporate.

Wrap the stainless steel bowl with clean kitchen towels and place it in the oven and close the door. You don’t turn the oven on.

Let the milk culture for 24 hours.

To make the smoothie, blend 2 cups of freshly made yogurt with the strawberries and banana. Serve and enjoy!
