Brazilian Limeade, Summer Drinks

Refreshing Brazilian Limeade

Quench your thirst with this vibrant and tangy Brazilian Limeade! Perfect for hot summer days, this easy-to-make drink brings a zesty twist to your refreshment game. Bursting with fresh lime flavor and a hint of sweetness, it’s a crowd-pleaser that will transport you straight to the sunny beaches of Brazil.

You can also use frozen fruit, watermelon, melons or any kind of fruit you like for delicious variations.

Ingredients

4 fresh limes
4 cups cold water
1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
Ice cubes
Sweetened condensed milk (optional, for a creamy twist)

Instructions

1
Wash the limes thoroughly to remove any wax or impurities.
2
Cut the limes into quarters and place them in a blender. Add the cold water and sugar.
3
Pulse the mixture a few times to blend the limes and water. Be careful not to overblend, as it can make the limeade bitter.
4
Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove the lime pulp.
5
Taste the limeade and add more sugar if needed. For a creamy variation, stir in a couple of tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk.
6
Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the limeade over the ice. Garnish with lime slices or mint leaves if desired.
7
Sip and enjoy the refreshing, zesty flavors of Brazilian Limeade! Substitute any type of fruit or melon for a delicious variation for summer.
