Korean Beef Bulgogi Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

1 pound thinly sliced beef (such as ribeye or sirloin)
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons sesame oil   




2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger   




1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
1 head of lettuce, separated into leaves
1 cucumber, thinly sliced
1 carrot, shredded
1 green onion, thinly sliced
Sesame seeds, for garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and gochujang. Add the beef and marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.

Cook the Beef: Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Prepare the Lettuce Wraps: Arrange the lettuce leaves on a platter.

Assemble the Wraps: Fill each lettuce leaf with the cooked beef, cucumber, carrot, and green onion.
