Savory Roasted Brisket Recipe by Chef Bryan Woolley

Welcome to Chef Bryan Woolley’s kitchen, where we’re about to embark on a culinary journey with a delectable Roasted Brisket recipe. This savory delight is not only easy to prepare but also incredibly flavorful. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or just starting your cooking adventures, this recipe will guide you through the process. So, let’s roll up our sleeves and get ready to savor the aroma and taste of a perfectly roasted brisket.

Ingredients

1 large brisket, 10-12 pounds
1 bottle of 16 oz. brisket marinade
2 packages of 3 oz. Salsa Queen Dehydrated Salsa
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

1
Start by taking your large brisket out of the packaging. Rinse it thoroughly under cold water to remove any residual liquids from the packaging process.
2
Now, it's time to season your brisket. Generously sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of the brisket, ensuring the edges are well coated.
3
Place your seasoned brisket into a roaster pan, and then pour the 16 oz. bottle of brisket marinade over the meat. Sprinkle the dehydrated salsa over the meat and loosely cover with foil.
4
Preheat your roaster or oven to 275°F (135°C). Cook the brisket for approximately one hour per pound. You'll know it's ready when it becomes fork-tender. A 12 pound brisket should take about 12 hours
5
Once your brisket is perfectly roasted, carefully remove it from the oven or roaster. Allow it to rest for at least 30 minutes to let the juices redistribute.
6
Finally, slice the brisket against the grain for optimal tenderness and serve it up. Enjoy it with your favorite sides or use it to create mouthwatering sandwiches.
