Ingredients
1 pound shrimp, de-shelled and deveined
1/2 cup roasted garlic parmesan aioli
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp hot sauce (or to taste)
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
1/4 cup Italian style breadcrumbs
salt and pepper to taste
For the Roasted Garlic Parmesan Aioli:
3 heads garlic, roasted
1 large egg
1 cup olive oil
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
Juice of one lime
1 tsp salt
Instructions
1
Begin by placing the peeled and deveined shrimp into a food processor. Pulse until they're coarsely chopped. Transfer the chopped shrimp into a bowl.
2
Add 1/2 cup of the roasted garlic parmesan aioli, along with Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (adjust to your preference), a beaten egg, freshly chopped parsley, Italian-style breadcrumbs, and a dash of salt and pepper to the bowl. Mix everything thoroughly.
3
Heat a large frying pan and add a light coating of oil to the bottom. Shape the shrimp mixture into patties and pan fry them for a few minutes on each side. Cook until they turn a golden brown hue and are fully cooked. Set the cooked shrimp cakes aside.
4
For the Roasted Garlic Parmesan Aioli, combine roasted garlic, a large egg, olive oil, parmesan cheese, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Use an immersion blender or regular blender to blend the ingredients until smooth. Set the aioli aside for later use.
