Chile Relleno
These delicious chile relleno’s are so fun to make and tasty! Everyone is going to love the savory spice of this dish.
Ingredients
4-6 poblano peppers, roasted and peeled
12 cheese sticks Monterey Jack cheese
2 cups flour
8 egg whites, whipped to stiff peaks
Salt and pepper to taste
Oil for Frying
Instructions

Preheat your oil to 350 degree’s.

Make a slice down one side of the roasted/peeled poblano pepper and remove the seeds.

Stuff a couple of cheese sticks in the peppers and using a toothpick, sew back up the slice in the pepper to seal it.

Roll the prepared pepper in flour and dip in the whipped egg whites. Deep fry the peppers until they are golden brown.

Serve with Mexican rice, re-fried beans and your favorite salsa. If wanted, you can top it with sour cream and diced avocados for a yummy treat.
