Pork Sweet and Sour Short Ribs

If you wanna make one of the easiest dinners with incredible flavor, look no further. These Pork sweet and sour glazed short ribs are perfect!

Ingredients

2 pounds baby back ribs, cut in half
2 cups chopped pork belly
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup white cooking wine
1/4 cup ketchup
2 cups water
Prepared rice
Green onions finely chopped, garnish
4 cups chopped bok choy
Cooking oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1
Get your butcher to cut the baby back ribs in half so you have short ribs. You can use beef short ribs if you’d like too.
2
Heat a large skillet and pour enough oil in the bottom to lightly coat the pan. Pan sear the pork short ribs and pork belly pieces for color.
3
In a medium size bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, cooking wine, ketchup and water until combined.
4
Pour the sauce over the cooking pork short ribs, cover and simmer for about 30 minutes to fully cook and tenderize the short ribs.
5
After thirty minutes, remove the lid and boil to reduce to a glaze. Add the chopped bok choy and sauté for a couple of minutes to tenderize it.
6
Serve the pork short ribs with rice and bok choy on the side, enjoy!
