Bacon Carbonara
This delicious carbonara is so easy to make and perfect for dinner. I love serving garlic bread and vegetables to complete this wonderful dinner idea.
Ingredients
1 pound bacon, cut into bite size pieces
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 pound spaghetti
3 eggs
12 oz shredded parmesan cheese
Freshly chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Pan fry the bacon in a large fry pan on medium heat until crispy, set aside.

In a small bowl, whisk the eggs and shredded parmesan cheese together and set aside.

Boil the pasta according to the package directions. Once the pasta is fully cooked, remove the pasta and add it directly to the cooked bacon pan.

Quickly pour the egg mixture over the hot pasta and stir everything together. The heat from the pasta will cook the egg mixture into a creamy and delicious custard. If needed add 1/2 cup HOT pasta water to continue to cook the carbonara. If you need it thicker, add more shredded parmesan cheese.
