Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
This delicious dinner can come together in as little as 10 minutes. This recipe is a great way to incorporate more vegetables into your dinner menus and to easily tenderize those tough cuts of beef for a perfect dinner!
Ingredients
2-3 cups thinly sliced beef
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp toasted sesame seed oil
4 cups broccoli crowns
4 cups assorted chopped vegetables
Prepared rice
Sauce:
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp toasted sesame seed oil
2 tbsp corn starch

In a large bowl add the thinly sliced beef, cornstarch, soy sauce and toasted sesame seed oil. Let the beef marinate for about 30 minutes in the mixture and then deep fry the beef slices in 2-3 inches of oil, remove to a paper towel lined plate and set aside until ready to use.

Heat your wok or large frying pan on the stove and add enough oil to lightly coat the pan. Add your sliced up vegetables to the pan and stir fry for about 1 minute of until the vegetables are heated through.

Add the beef back into the pan and stir fry for an additional minutes to heat everything through.

To make the sauce, in a small bowl mix the oyster, hoisin and soy sauces along with the sesame seed oil and corn starch until combined.

Pour the prepared sauce into the wok and stir to coat and thicken the sauce. Serve the beef and broccoli with rice and enjoy.
