Easiest and Best Dutch Oven Chicken
Here’s the easiest and best dutch oven chicken recipe ever. Just season, fry and bake off in a dutch oven and enjoy. Serve with dutch oven potatoes and your favorite vegetable sides for an amazing meal.
Ingredients
5 chicken thighs
5 chicken drumsticks
2 large onions sliced
Season salt
Black pepper
Olive oil
Instructions

Add enough olive oil to a large fry pan so there is about 1/4 inch in the pan.

Season the chicken pieces (use any type of chicken pieces you choose) with your favorite seasoning and fry until they are golden brown in the pan. Remove from the pan as needed and fry in batches to not over crowd them.

Add a large handful of sliced onion to the bottom of your dutch oven and place the pan fried chicken in the pan. Layer the chicken and sliced onion in the dutch oven.

Bake the dutch oven chicken in a 350 degree oven for an hour or until fully cooked.

You can also cook over campfire coals for about an hour or until the chicken is fully cooked.
