Bolognese Sauce with Pasta
Bolognese sauce is NOT difficult to make. It is a simple meat sauce with some milk added to it for extra creaminess.
Ingredients
4 carrots, peeled
3-4 celery stalks
1 medium onion chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
4 tbsp butter
1 1/2 pounds ground hamburger
1 cup milk
1 cup white or red wine
1/2 tsp found nutmeg
3-4 cups diced or crushed tomatoes

Instructions

Chop the carrots, celery, onion and garlic into the bowl of your food processor and pulse until finely chopped.

Add the butter to a large saute pan along with the finely chopped vegetables. Saute for 5 minutes.

Add the ground hamburger and saute until no longer pink.

Add the milk, white wine and nutmeg, simmer for 10-15 minutes to reduce by half.

Add the tomatoes, stir to combine and simmer for 20 minutes.

Cook your favorite pasta and drain it. Toss the sauce and pasta together, serve with shave parmesan cheese chopped parsley and freshly baked rolls.
