Chicken Strips with a Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

Want a delicious idea for dinner that everyone will love? Try my wonderful chicken strips with the amazing honey mustard dipping sauce. Perfect for dinner or a party, these chicken strips are the best!

Ingredients

3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 1/2 cups cornstarch
1/2 cup self rising flour
2 chicken bullion cubes, crushed
2 tbsp season salt
1 tbsp black pepper
3 eggs
1/4 cup yellow mustard
1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
1/4 cup honey
Oil for frying

Instructions

Cut the chicken breasts into strips and set aside.

In a large re-sealable bag, add the cornstarch, self-rising flour, crushed chicken bullion cubes, season salt and black pepper. Shake together to combine.

In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs together.

Preheat the oil to 350 degree’s.

Dredge the chicken strips in the flour mixture and then dip in the eggs and dredge again in the flour mixture.

Fry the chicken strips until they are golden brown and have an internal temperature of 165 degree’s.

Remove and the chicken strips from the fryer and place them on a paper towel lined plate to help remove excess oil.

In a medium size bowl, whisk together the yellow mustard, spicy brown mustard and honey until well combined. Serve with the fried chicken strips.
