Chocolate Dipped Coconut Macaroons
Chewy and delicious, these coconut macaroons are amazing. Each bite is a little bit of heaven and they great to give as neighbor gifts. I like to dip half of them in chocolate to truly take them to an incredible level of delicious!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 large egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup melted milk or dark chocolate
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s.

In a large bowl, combine the shredded sweetened coconut, sugar, flour, salt, egg whites and vanilla. Mix everything together until combined.

On a parchment lined baking sheet, spoon the (about 2 tbsp) macaroon batter onto your prepared baking sheet.

Bake in your preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.

Melt about 1/2 cup milk or dark chocolate and dip half of the coconut macaroon into the melted chocolate. Place them back on the baking sheet and let the chocolate set. Once set, serve and enjoy!
