Air Fryer BBQ Chicken
Easy and delicious, this bbq chicken cooked in the air fryer is the best!
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
2 tbsp Chicken seasoning
Vegetable Spray
For the BBQ Sauce:
1 cup sugar
1 stick butter
½ cup corn syrup
½ cup water
1 cup diced onion
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups prepared bbq sauce
Instructions
1
To make the BBQ sauce, in a large sauce pan combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, and water. Bring to a boil and continue boiling until the mixture reach soft ball stage.
2
Add remaining ingredients and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes, set aside until ready to use.
3
For the chicken, season the chicken with your favorite chicken seasoning (I like to use Montreal Chicken Seasoning).
4
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer and cook for 10 minutes at 350 degree’s Fahrenheit. Times and temperature may need to be adjusted. Cook until the thickest part of the chicken breast internal temperature is 165 degree’s.
5
Brush the chicken breasts with the prepared BBQ sauce and air-fry for an additional 2 minutes. Serve with your favorite sides.
