Air-fryer Lollipop Chicken with Fettuccini Alfredo Pasta
This fun and delicious lollipop chicken goes great with pasta. Serve with a green salad on the side with a dinner roll and enjoy!
Ingredients
1 pound fettuccini noodles
2 cups prepared garlic alfredo sauce
8 drumsticks
1 tbsp chicken seasoning
Instructions
1
Cook the fettuccini noodles according to the package directions. Drain and toss the pasta with the prepared garlic alfredo sauce.
2
To make the lollipop chicken, cut around the “knuckle” of the drumstick releasing the meat from the bone. Scrape the meat down the bone using a sharp knife being careful not to cut yourself.
3
Cut away long tendons. Make a cut about 1 inch in the bunch up meat to allow you to fold it down and around the base of the drumstick. If needed, make a longer cut to simplify this.
4
Remove the joint from the “knuckle” to clean it up so the bone looks like the stick of a “lollipop”
5
Sprinkle the prepared drumsticks with your favorite chicken seasoning and place them in your air-fryer. My air-fryer takes 10 minutes at 400 degree’s to cook them to an internal temperature of 165 degrees. All temperatures are in Fahrenheit. You can also bake these in your oven for about 30 minutes at about 350 degree's.
6
Remove the lollipop chicken from the air-fryer and serve with the prepared pasta. Serve and enjoy!
