BLTA
I love BLT sandwiches but adding a few slices of avocado to this famous sandwich take it over the edge! My secret is to dip the toasted bread in the bacon grease before assembling the sandwich.
Ingredients
8 slices white bread, can use any kind of bread
12 slices bacon
2 avocados
Iceberg Lettuce
Sliced fresh tomatoes
Mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Pan cook the bacon until crispy. Once cooked, transfer the cooked bacon to a paper towel lined plate to drain any excess grease.

While the bacon is cooking, toast the bread, slice the tomatoes and avocados and remove a few lettuce leaves.

Once the bread is toasted and the bacon is fully cooked. Carefully dip the toast into the bacon grease to lightly coat one side of the toasted bread.

Sparingly spread the mayonnaise on the toasted and build the BLT with the bacon, tomatoes, sliced avocados and iceberg lettuce.

Serve with your favorite chips and enjoy!
