Stuffed Pasta Shells

Stuffed Pasta Shells

Looking for a fun idea for diner, how about stuffed pasta shells! These are fun to make and freeze beautifully for several months too.

Ingredients

1 pkg jumbo pasta shells
1 container ricotta cheese, (30 ounces)
2 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 eggs
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
3-4 cups prepared marinara sauce
Shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1
Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s.
2
Cook the pasta shells according to the package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside until ready to use.
3
Spray a 9x13 baking sheet with vegetable spray and set aside.
4
In a large bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, eggs and parmesan cheese. Mix everything together.
5
Ladle about 1 cup of sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
6
Carefully spoon the ricotta cheese mixture into the cooked jumbo pasta shells and place them into the prepared baking dish. Continue filling the pasta shells until baking dish is full and the filling is used up.
7
Spoon the additional sauce over the shells and sprinkle with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
8
Loosely cover with foil and place in your preheated oven, bake for 25 minutes with the foil on. Remove the foil and continue baking for about 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and slightly browned.
9
Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes, serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
