Chicken Rolls with Cream Cheese

Baked Chicken Rolls with Cream Cheese

I love these chicken rolls and like to serve them on TV trays while were watching a movie. Serve them with your favorite sides and enjoy a vintage dinner idea that the whole family will love!

Ingredients

3 chicken breasts, fully cooked and chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/2 cup chopped mushrooms
1 cup chopped celery
2 tbsp onion powder
1 pkg cream cheese
4 tbsp butter
2-3 cans crescent rolls
1 pkg chicken shake and bake
1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
1 cup finely shredded parmesan cheese
vegetable spray
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1
Preheat your oven to 350 degree’s.
2
In the bowl of your food processor, add the chopped chicken breasts, chopped green onions, chopped mushrooms, chopped celery, onion powder, salt and pepper chopping everything together.
3
In a large microwave safe bowl, add the cream cheese and butter. Microwave for approximately 30 seconds to soften the cream cheese and butter.
4
Add the softened cream cheese and butter to your food processor and pulse everything together with the chicken mixture until well combined.
5
Open your crescent roll container, separate the rolls and place a heaping spoon full on the wide end of the crescent roll. Roll in up and place it on a parchment lined baking sheet. Continue until chicken filling or crescent rolls are gone.
6
In a large bowl, combine the shake and bake, seasoned bread crumbs and the finely shredded parmesan cheese mixing until combined.
7
Spray the chicken rolls with vegetable oil and dredge in the bread crumb mixture. Once dredged, place them on the parchment lined baking sheet and lightly spray again with vegetable oil to coat the bread coating.
8
Once the chicken rolls are coated, place them in the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes or until they are golden brown.
9
Remove from the oven and let them sit for 5 minutes before serving. I like to serve with vegetables and potatoes.
