Chicken Nuggets
These delicious chicken nuggets are really fun to make and eat. Serve with your favorite sides and dipping sauce. Enjoy this tasty idea for dinner anytime of the week.
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
1 chicken bullion cube
2 tbsp corn starch
3/4 cup bread crumbs
For the Batter:
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup water
1 eggs
salt and pepper to taste

Slice the chicken breasts into small cubes and place them into your food processor with the blade attachment. Add the chicken bouillon cube, corn starch and bread crumbs to the food processor and pulse everything together to finely chop everything together.

Shape the chicken mixture into individual nuggets and place them on a baking sheet that has been liberally sprayed with vegetable oil.

Once all the nuggets are shaped, place them in the freezer to firm up for about 30 minutes. This step isn’t necessary but makes handling the nuggets much easier.

Preheat some oil for deep frying to 370 degree’s.

In a large bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder together. Add the water and egg, whisking everything together.

Dip chicken nuggets in the tempura batter and fry until golden brown and the chicken is fully cooked through. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
For an interesting twist, after dipping in the tempura batter, dredge the chicken nuggets in your favorite bread crumbs before frying.
