Spanish Bean Soup
This delicious bean soup has a Spanish flare to it with the chorizo sausage, cilantro and saffron! Easy to make and tasty, your family and friends are going to love it!
Ingredients
1 package chorizo sausage, 9-10 ounce package
3 red potatoes, washed and diced
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans garbanzo beans, 15.5 ounce cans
4 cups chicken stock
1/4 cup Goya recaito
1 envelope Goya sazon with saffron
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat a large pot on the stove and add enough olive oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pot.

Add the chorizo sausage and sauté until fully cooked.

Add the diced red potatoes, onion and minced garlic to the pot with the chorizo. Sauté everything together for about 3-5 minutes or until the onion is very fragrant.

Add the garbanzo beans (liquid too), chicken stock, Goya recaito and the Goya salon with saffron.

Stir everything together, bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and simmer for 5 minutes.
