Hamburgers and Hot dogs
Perfect for any family get together or holiday, hamburgers and hot dogs are a grilling favorite. I’d really recommend my Super Burgers too!
Ingredients
1 pound ground hamburger
1 pound mild Italian Sausage
6-8 hot dogs
1 red onion, sliced
3-4 tomatoes, sliced
Lettuce slices
1 cup sauerkraut (optional)
Hamburger and Hot Dog buns
Condiments as desired
Your choice of potato chips
Instructions

Heat your grill.

In a large mixing bowl, mix the hamburger and Italian mild sausage together until well combined.

Divide the hamburger mixture into 8 equal portions and shape the hamburger mixture into patties.

Grill the hamburgers until they are fully cooked through (about 4 minutes each side). Grill the hot dogs for about 5 minutes or until they are cooked through. Salt and pepper to taste.

To assemble the hamburgers, spread your favorite condiments on the hot bun (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise…) and add the cooked hamburger to the prepared bun. Finish with sliced onion, tomato slices and lettuce.

To assemble the hot dogs, squeeze some ketchup and mustard into your hot dog bun and place the grilled hot dog into the bun. I like to spoon sauerkraut onto my hot dog before serving. Enjoy!
