BBQ Chicken with Root Beer Peach BBQ Sauce
Root Beer Peach BBQ sauce is amazing and goes perfect with BBQ chicken. Whether you are a seasoned BBQ master or not, this dish is definitely worth making!
Ingredients
1 whole chicken cut up
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 small onion, diced
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 peach, peeled, pitted and chopped
1 cup root beer
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp season salt
1 tbsp black pepper

Preheat your grill to high and grill the chicken until it is well marked. Finish grilling the chicken using indirect heat until fully cooked through with an internal temperature of 165 degree’s Fahrenheit.

Heat a large sauce pan on the stove add the vegetable oil, onion, minced garlic and the peach. Sauté for 3-5 minutes.

Add the root beer, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, season salt and black pepper. Stir to incorporate everything. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Once the chicken is fully cooked, add the pieces into the root beer BBQ sauce turning to coat well. Return to the grill and grill an additional 3-5 minutes to caramelize the sauce on the chicken.

Serve with corn on the cob or your favorite side, with some additional root beer peach bbq sauce on the side. Enjoy!
