Power Grain Bread

Power Grain Bread

Not only is this bread good for you, it’s delicious! This bread is a great option for healthy living and the perfect way to incorporate whole grains into your diet.

Ingredients

6 cups unbleached whole wheat flour
1 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup wheat gluten
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup chia seeds
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup coconut palm sugar
2 tbsp instant yeast
1 tbsp sea salt
3 1/2 cups water

Instructions

Add everything into the bowl of you stand mixer. Using the dough hook, let the bread knead for 20 minutes.

If needed, adjust the water to create a soft dough.

When the dough has finished, remove and transfer to an oiled bowl. Spray the top of the dough with olive oil and let the dough double in size.

Divide the dough into 3 equal portions and shape into loafs. Place them in your bread pans that have been sprayed with oil and gently press the dough into the pan.

Let the bread loaves double in size or rise to the desired height. There isn’t a lot of oven spring with this dough so make sure it has risen enough.

Bake the bread in a preheated 350 degree oven for approximately 25 minutes or until the top begins to turn golden brown.

Remove from the oven and spray the top of the bread with olive oil, remove the bread from the pans and place on a cooling rack. Let the bread cool completely, cut and serve. Enjoy!
