Fall Homemade Granola

Fall Homemade Granola

I love to make granola and many times I’ll use whatever I have in my cupboard. Various nut and oats are great choices so be creative and build your favorite granola!

Ingredients

3 cups rolled oats
1 cup almonds
1 cup cashews
½ cup sunflower seeds
1 cup pistachios
1 cup pumpkin seeds
3/4 cup shredded sweet coconut
2 cups craisins
1 cup honey
Salt to taste (if needed)

Instructions

1
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
2
Combine the rolled oats, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pistachios, pumpkin seeds, shredded sweet coconut and craisins in a large mixing bowl and mix together to combine.
3
Transfer the combined trail mix onto a large baking sheet and place it into the oven for 5-10 minutes to warm it through before adding the honey.
4
While the trail mix is heating, warm the honey in hot water.
5
Drizzle the honey over the warmed trail mix and carefully fold the everything together.
6
Bake in a 300 degree oven for about 20-25 minutes or until it's golden brown. Be sure to mix the granola every 5 minutes or so. When you start to see the top turning golden brown, be sure to stir it so the top doesn’t brown too much.
7
Allow to cool, serve and enjoy!
