Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Cauliflower Pizza Crust

Cauliflower pizza crust is fun to make and eat. Whether you are gluten free or not, here is a delicious idea for your next pizza party!

Ingredients

1/2 head cauliflower florets
2 eggs
1 cup parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tbsp Italian herb seasoning
1 tsp onion salt
2 tsp black pepper
2 cups tomato sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
5 oz sliced pepperoni
1 cup sliced mushroom
Vegetable Spray

Instructions

Using the shredder blade on your food processor, great the cauliflower florets and transfer them to a large bowl.

Microwave the shredded/grated cauliflower for about 6 minutes or until the cauliflower is cooked.

Once the cauliflower is cooked, remove from the bowl and place it on a baking sheet. Place it in the fridge and cool the cooked cauliflower.

In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 tbsp Italian herb seasoning, onion salt and black pepper.

To the egg mixture, add the cooled cauliflower and mix everything together.

Shape the crust on a parchment paper lined baking sheet that has been sprayed with vegetable spray,

Press the mixture into a pizza round about 14-16 inches.

Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until it is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and allow the crust to cool.

Spread the tomato sauce on top of the crust as well as the shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced pepperonin.

Bake off in the oven just until the cheese has melted and is bubbling.

Remove form the oven, cool for a coupled of minutes, slice and serve.
